Expressions of Interest

The Quality Bus 2026 event is being presented by Landor LINKS and supported by the Department for Transport and the Bus Centre of Excellence (BCoE).

BCoE is ready to build skills and capacity as the bus sector gets ready for major change. Whether following a franchising or  enhanced partnership model for improving local bus services, all places in the country need the right skills and capability to deliver attractive bus services as part of an integrated, net zero transport system.

In parts of the bigger cities of Britain, over one in three journeys to work is made by bus. Nationally, one in three secondary school pupils reaches school by bus.

Nevertheless, for the UK to reach legally set carbon mitigation targets, as well as

achieve multiple public policy objectives including improved public health challenges,

greatly increased bus use needs is a key tool to achieve the

transformational change required.
